  • Are bifold doors thermally efficient?

    Yes, the ALUNA bifold system can achieve Part L compliant U-values as low as 1.4 W/m2K when combined with energy efficient glass, providing maximum thermal efficiency.

  • Are bifold doors secure?

    Yes, the ALUNA bifold system is extremely secure, including PAS 24 accreditation, compliant for maximum security. 


    Combined with the AluLock, the ALUNA bifold system is the ultimate security kit. The stylish but secure Sweet Handle is designed to prevent gripping tools from snapping the handle during a break in. The Ultion Technology 3-star barrel also provides double the sacrificial protection, including an anti lock pin and 20-point drill protection as standard. If attacked, the barrel enters lockdown mode, meaning the lock is practically impenetrable without heavy and noisy power tools.

  • What colours do the Aluna bifold come in?

    Here at Neu-Era, our bifolding door systems are available in three standard colours – White (RAL9016), Anthracite Grey (RAL7016) and Black (RAL9005). Additionally, we have dual colour options available – Grey Out/ White In or Black Out/ White In. For projects requiring bespoke colours, any RAL colour can is also available upon request.
